Oct 20 evening

Hi there spend the day at the beach. We walked to the pier and boarded a ferry for 30 baht each ( 26 baht is about $1) so really not very much. We sailed for a,most 1 hour and when to the island. We went around the top point to the beach shown. Had a great day.

Now this picture is for Hali and Jennifer Page---and anyone else who loves shoes. This guy will come to your door with a whole cart load of shoes for you to try!!!

And of course something for everyone--the balloon lady.

There is also a Stuffed Animals truck also and will tey to get a picture of that for you tomorrow.

This is the corn lady. She does a really good business selling cooked corn off the cob, placed in a cup with butter topping.

The beach we were at  from the

 ferry--sorry does not show well. Beautiful white sand, warm water, no waves and lots of umbrellas and lounge chairs.

We had a nap when we got home and left late for supper and went down the famous

Walking Street---which has all the Bars and Diso places, still pretty tame at 10pm---but I think by 2-3am it will be a little wild down there. But been there done that--had fun.

Not sure what we  are doing tomorrow--no plans yet--2 more days here than off to Bangkok...
